Control of Mice and Rats

Mice

Mice, these small rodents typically measuring up to 10 cm, not including their tails, have a lifespan of about one year. A female can give birth to up to 8 litters of ten pups each year. Known for their gnawing tendencies, they can cause significant damage to the structures of homes and buildings, while posing health risks due to their droppings. These pests often seek refuge in warm places, such as boiler rooms and heating pipes, complicating their removal without professional intervention.

Rats

Rats are rodents measuring up to 25 cm without the tail, with a weight that can reach 500 g, although most typically weigh between 250 and 300 g. Their lifespan is about one year, and a female can give birth to up to 8 litters, each consisting of around ten baby rats. As omnivores, rats easily adapt to their environment and diet. However, their natural gnawing behavior can lead to significant damage, particularly due to the burrows they dig. Additionally, rats can be carriers of diseases and bacteria, posing a risk to human and animal health.
